Hebrew Vocabulary Lessons
Milingua's Hebrew vocabulary lessons usually focus on a root and present words deriving from it. Hebrew words having a common root may be as disparate as "landscape" (something you see from a height) and "crane" (something that pulls heavy things to heights). Each lesson contains an explanation of the root as well as examples. The examples expand further the scope of the lesson. All words and examples are accompanied by audio. See samples by clicking the links below (the samples contains audio and may take a few seconds to appear).
The collection contains 340 lessons covering nearly 1,700 words, terms, and expressions, including the words that appear in the examples.
The lessons can be accessed online through an alphabetic index and a root index (Hebrew and Latin transliteration).
